This app is designed as a simple yet cost-effective solution to assigning a location code to each and every household or building in Africa.
A location code is shorter and much easier to communicate and to remember than the latitude/longitude coordinates.
Here are some examples of location code:A location code can be converted into latitude/longitude coordinates and vice versa.
As a home address it replaces both house number and postcode.
In a bank, you can provide your home location code in place of the localisation plan because it uniquely localises where you live.
In an emergency situation, you can share your current location code with relatives and emergency services and they will find you straightaway.
The Terms of Service sets out the conditions that govern the use of the Afrilocode app.
You agree to this Terms of Service by installing, accessing, or using the Afrilocode app.
The Afrilocode app relies on third-party services to perform certain functions like accessing maps and sending messages.
The Afrilocode app also gets your location geo-coordinates from the GPS receiver of your device; and also requires Internet connections to perform location search and to calculate the route to a given destination.
You must provide any devices, software, and data connections that are necessary for the use of the Afrilocode app.
You are responsible for all carrier data plan and other fees and taxes associated with the use of the Afrilocode app.
You must use the Afrilocode app only for legal, authorized, and acceptable purposes.
You will not use or assist others in using the Afrilocode in ways that violate the Afrilocode privacy policy.
You must not (or assist others to) access, use, copy, adapt, modify, distribute, license, sublicense, transfer, display, perform, or otherwise exploit the Afrilocode app in impermissible or unauthorized manners.
You must not directly or through automated means reverse engineer, alter, modify, create derivative works from, decompile, or extract code from the Afrilocode app.
The Afrilocode app allows you to access, use, or interact with third-party websites and apps to share or visualise location informations.
When using third-party services, you must adhere to their own terms and privacy policies which govern your use of those services.
You must agree to the Afrilocode privacy policy which govern the use of your personal data.
The Afrilocode app is provided as is without any express or implied warranties.
You use the Afrilocode app at your own risk.
There is no warranties that the Afrilocode app is error free, secure, safe, or correct.
